An 85-year-old Westchester man who went missing has been located and is safe.

John Lamson was observed by a concerned citizen walking in the vicinity of the BP Gas Station, 190 Aqueduct Road in White Plains at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 in the Town of Greenburgh, Greenburgh Police said.

Greenburgh Police responded and confirmed his identity. Lamson was evaluated on scene by Greenburgh Police EMS and was found to be in good condition. He has since been returned home to his family.

An 85-year-old Westchester man has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him.

John Lyon Lamson is a missing vulnerable adult with dementia who may be in need of medical attention.

He was last seen on Barclay Road in Scarsdale, Westchester County at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6. He was driving a 2010 gray Acura TSX with New York registration DVF-8287 similar to the one pictured above (second image). Recent information indicates he was traveling northbound toward Dutchess County.

Lamson is 5-foot-10, 190 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes
